Description: The Program Lead from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) discusses the CY 2020 Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)/Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Final Rule and the resulting changes for both hospitals and ASCs.
Objectives:
- Relate the Meaningful Measure Initiative to the changes in the Final Rule.
- Locate the Calendar Year (CY) 2020 Outpatient Prospective Payment System/Ambulatory Surgical Center (OPPS/ASC) Final Rule in the Federal Register.
- List the finalized changes to each program in the CY 2020 OPPS/ASC Final Rule.
Target Audience: Individuals that collect and report data for both the ASCQR and Hospital OQR programs who wish to learn about the upcoming changes for the programs as a result of the finalized proposals put forth in the Final Rule.
