This presentation will provide participants with an overview of the proposals in the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) Proposed Rule, issued on April 14, 2017, related to electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) reporting requirements for the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) and Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs for hospitals and other Meaningful Use (MU) requirements under the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs. An overview will also be provided regarding how to submit formal comments to become a matter of record and receive response in the Final Rule.
