This 90-minute event will provide an overview of the new Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) PSI 90 composite used in the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program, Hospital-Acquired Condition (HAC) Reduction Program, and the Hospital Compare Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating. Topics will include the background on the PSIs, updates to PSIs in the version 6.0 specification, purpose of recalibration and changes to PSIs because of recalibration, summary of scientific acceptability testing, key resources, transitioning to ICD-10, and implications for CMS programs.
