This presentation will provide an overview of quality program proposals for hospitals as addressed in the recently released Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS)/Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Proposed Rule. This discussion will focus on proposed changes to the Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) Program, Hospital-Acquired Condition (HAC) Reduction Program, Hospital Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program, and Hospital Readmissions Reduction Program (HRRP).
